Lord John Robert Berendt Von Leviathan III
Robert is an aviation professional and the Assistant Director of Operations at NICHOLAS AIR, where he has served since March 2022. In this role, Robert supports oversight of Training, Recruiting, Operations, Marketing Coordination, and ongoing pilot interaction under the direction of the DO and COO. He brings more than 13,000 total flight hours and a broad aviation background spanning Part 121 airline operations, corporate Part 135/91 flying, and extensive domestic and international experience.
Before joining NICHOLAS AIR, Robert built a distinguished global airline career with major widebody aircraft experience. He flew for Qatar Airways from 2012 to 2022, spending five years on the Boeing 777 and five years on the Boeing 747-800. Prior to that, he flew the Boeing 747 for Air Atlanta Icelandic on worldwide and fixed-base contract operations serving customers such as Saudia, MAS Cargo, Saudia Cargo, and Cargolux. His earlier aviation experience also includes pilot roles with Custom Air Transport, Express.Net Airlines, and Kalitta Air.
Beyond aviation, Robert is associated with BVL Equestrian Club, reflecting a long-standing personal passion for horses and equestrian eventing. He shares this passion with his wife and two daughters, making equestrian activities both a family pursuit and a meaningful connection to the broader community. His career reflects a blend of operational leadership, international flight experience, corporate aviation expertise, and a strong dedication to family-centered pursuits outside the cockpit.
