Fernando Pineda
My aviation career spans nearly three decades, characterized by extensive leadership in both Part 121 and Part 135 operations. Following the completion of my B.S. in Aviation Administration with a minor in Aerospace Technology, I earned dual certifications as both an Airman and an Aircraft Dispatcher. After serving in executive leadership roles within the New York and Atlanta aviation hubs, I found my true calling at NICHOLAS AIR in 2019.
As Chief Technology Officer for Flight Operations, I provide critical technical advisory to our operations center while driving process innovation and strategic growth. I lead the initiatives that secure NICHOLAS AIR’s global operational authorizations and oversee the development of our proprietary software solutions, including JetPad and OpsDesk.
Outside of my professional role, I remain active in the industry and community, serving on the Board of Directors for Live On New York and the Industry Advisory Committee for SUNY’s aviation program. At home, I enjoy the art of the dad joke, even if I occasionally make my wife and children cringe.
