Keith Mangum
Beginning in 1996 with the U.S. Air Force, my entire professional career has been dedicated to aviation. I started my journey on the flight line as a Maintenance Tech (Crew Chief) before transitioning to the cockpit as a C-130 Navigator in 2001. Following my military retirement in 2014, I further expanded my industry expertise through airport management at MSY in New Orleans and by earning a B.S. in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
I joined NICHOLAS AIR as a PC-12 pilot in 2019, subsequently earning upgrades to the Phenom 100, 300, and Challenger series before being appointed Director of Operations in 2023. I thrive on the intricate challenges of this role; I view our daily operations as a complex puzzle, and there is immense satisfaction in aligning every piece to ensure a seamless experience. Outside of the cockpit and the office, I am a decent woodworker and an admittedly terrible dancer.
